The nanotechnologies will further the enhancement of human existence through the development of countless applications. However, these applications will pose many uncertainties for society, and should not be introduced without the development of proper social policy.

  7. The ever-expanding mythos of Spider-Man has today been presented across the spectrum of artistic mediums. The concept of the hero, and more specifically the superhero, is one that intrinsically and timelessly captivates the human psyche. Yet the fictional society often depicted in the Spider-Man mythos is less than grateful, and often hateful toward the preternatural hero. My argument spawns from this difference in attitude between a real society and a fictional society in regard to the acceptance of a super-human.

1)Expand what you mean here by this “difference.” Unpack it a little bit more and clarify what the difference is. 2) State your argument directly, with your “because” clause. 3) It sounds like you’re commenting on the fictional world of Spiderman, in order to shed light on a real-world societal phenomenon (of increasing genetic potential/capabilities…)

The word addiction as applied to behavior situations like video game playing and gambling is often misused and ambiguous. Video games, specifically online multiplayer games, can in some situations be seen as addictive; however, it is often a fault on the player that leads to dangerously obsessive play and not some mechanism encoded in the machine that keeps bringing players back.

With the immediacy of information via television’s ubiquity, children are invariably subjected to gender-bias commercials that, through extended exposure, appear inherently natural and true such that they may effect permanent attitude and behavioral changes towards an increase in gender stereotyping.

As people began to demand more dynamic expression on keyboard instruments, the piano was invented and gradually replaced the harpsichord. Though the electronic piano was born along with new musical genres, itself as a derivative of the piano,it will never replace the piano like the way the piano had replaced harpsichord because this non-stringed keyboard instrument cannot fully interpret classical music. Piano remains the ultimate keyboard instrument for bringing classical music to people’s lives.

The availability of medical marijuana in California has undermined the Federal Governments authority over growers and distributors causing much concern amongst the Federal Government. It is for these reasons the Federal Government is fighting so desperately against medical marijuana privileges. Scientific studies, doctoral recommendation and new devices for smoking marijuana without side effects make medical marijuana a legitimate source of medicine.
